Sound District is more than a label, it’s a movement. Born out of a passion for deep house, soulful house, Afro-tech and underground sounds, we exist to create a space for both seasoned DJs and rising talents to share authentic, feel-good music experiences.

Our platform is home to carefully curated shows, exclusive mixes, and special guest sessions from local and international artists. Every mix we release tells a story — designed to connect people through sound and rhythm, from intimate backroom sessions to the biggest dancefloors.

At Sound District, we believe music is a language without borders. Whether you’re here for our label releases, weekly radio-style shows, or special event series, you’re part of a growing community of listeners, selectors, and creators.

Submitting a mix is simply as easy as uploading your file on any cloud storage including (Dropbox, Google Drive) and email a link to your audio to mixes@sounddistrict.co.za

The mix must not exceed 120 minutes. Please make sure you include the following on the email:

• Your Stage Name
• Social Media Handles
• Booking Details
• Tracklist (Optional)

Please note we will not accept mixes with extreamly low audio quality.
